I
have no problem with Trump becoming the recognized POTUS. What I do
have a problem with is the description of his election as being the
will of the American People (upper case P). The election was carried
out as prescribed by the founders and he became POTUS by a majority
of the electors but not by the majority of the American People. Ergo
the use of the word mandate should be approached with caution.
