Resident ordered to surrender weapons in sentence
A
North Lewisburg man was ordered to surrender firearms and a concealed
carry permit to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office as part of a
sentence handed down on Monday.
….......It
was reported that Cauley again forced his way into the house where
the argument continued. He reportedly left the residence and went
outside to obtain a 40 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun from his
pickup truck.
The
caller advised Cauley began walking back to the house and pointed the
weapon at her. She advised she was trying to get Cauley to put the
gun down and leave.
