More Guns That's The Ticket

We are bombarded with the harangue, from the NRA gun sellers and their feckless congressional lackeys, that more guns means a safer population. The "more guns" rant apparently includes adapters that convert semi automatic military style assault rifles with oversized magazines into rapid fire killing tools. Please explain to the families of the dead and wounded how armed concert goers in Las Vegas could have prevented the tragedy.
