During
the several candidate forums for Wilmington city offices a lot of
rhetoric concerning the economic state of the city and its residents
have been discussed.
Here
I present some information that might shed some light on the
actual situation. Warning mind numbing data ahead!
To
me the demographic data indicates that even though median household
income has fallen since 2000 total wealth has increased. It’s just
been shifted to fewer people. This shift reflects the national
situation.
